Hinz Kunz - Réserver une table

Very rude staff and inflexible management. It was not so much that they denied us service there were 5 of us and asked to sit at a table for 4 ; it's cocktails, not 5 course dining, they should be more flexible), it's that they did so in a very abrupt and rude way. I was literally yelled at. I would not advise anyone to spend their money there. There are much nicer places in Basel with equally good, equally priced cocktails where staff can actually deliver good service. Clearly good service is not part of the work ethic at this bar.

Wenn Du in Basel, gemütlich nach dem Feierabend, die blaue Stunde geniessen willst, ist das Hinz Kunz wie geschaffen dafür. Smooth Jazz in der Luft, Gäste jeden Alters und aus der ganzen Welt, erzeugen ein angenehmes Ambiente. Bis jetzt gab es keinen Drink den die Barkeeper nicht kannten und dann frisch für mich zubereiteten. Besten Dank für euren Service und bis bald.

Had a couple nice cocktails here. They have a very well stocked bar with all varieties of liquor. Specialties appear to be Gin and Rum (they also have flights of these). Staff was very quick and always attentive. Would recommend as a nice date place or before-dinner drinks.
