My family has been supporting this business since they started years ago in South Minneapolis on Nicollet. I was telling my friend how the business ended up in Brooklyn Park and they have good BBQ n Peking duck and they were nice peopleto support. So I took my friend (Chinese) there after work to buy a roast duck. Well, as we were selected the duck she (one of the owner's) rambling on that the ducks are all the same. Why are we choosing. She made a rudely comment under her breath n made an annoying face at us along with her young son as well. I was so embarrassed that I had earlier telling my friend how nice they are lmao. It was an awful experience and embarrassing for my friend. My friend was chinshe she heard the lady swearing under her breath in Chinese. Business like this one with supports from old customers like us will drive us away because of the bad customer services. You business owner need to understand that without our support, you wouldn't be in business. Ducks are different and not thecsame as you are different from me too. Next time, please put the attitude away when doing business because you want our money and support keep you in business. Definitely for sure my poor friend will never shop at your store again.
Great foods, friendly owners and staff! I never thought I would eat duck; now, I highly recommend the roasted duck! Dipping in the duck sauce is a plus!Vegetarian options: Options in soups and stir fries!Kid-friendliness: Foods are customized for kids here, while there's not an official kids menu. In fact, kids can eat just about everything, because people usually have to individually spice or season their food to their taste.Parking: It's a strip, and parking is almost always available closer to the restaurant or about couple stores away.
So I usually get pork and duck when I order here. My main complain is that the old man working there don’t use gloves or wash his hands before doing multiple things. I saw him being food out from the back that was for take out, grabbed duck then grabbed pork. He then bagged up some orders. Like I said I stopped ordering here for many years and I finally decided to give it a try again. It now I don’t think I will be ordering here again after see how they operate.
Best roasted duck and pork in the twin cities. Very casual dine-in experience. I assume a lot of their business is take-out. It may appear that there are a ton of customers there, based on the used car lot number of vehicles parked in the front and back in the business but it is like this even when the restaurant is empty. I asked the waitress about this but she just flashed me an evasive confused look like I had asked about some long buried family secret. ;
