Hippopotamus Saint-Thibault

We visited Hippopotamus for a birthday party with family, but unfortunately it became a nightmare! After we were there for 2 hours, we had only received half a drink order, appetizers (which we had to hunt forward) and that were hardly satisfactory. Then they started bringing some of the main meals. Although we understand that things are cooked differently in France, we did not see it acceptable for them, a CHILDS burger over, COLD and RAW! Not only is this inconspicuous, but could have been a serious health risk! When we told an employee, they took the burger away and brought a new one about exactly the same! Très bonne nourriture, service excellent et prix raisonnable. Nous sommes arrivés vers 21h30, avec des enfants très fatigués de Disney, mais nous avons été agréablement surpris par ce restaurant. Le service était rapide, ma salade de chef était délicieuse et les côtes de ma femme étaient également excellentes.... Les enfants ont pris le burger et, pour terminer le repas, une mousse au chocolat faite maison était excellente! Très belle surprise et recommandé à tous ceux qui sont dans la région.

Very good food, excellent service and fair price. We arrived at around 21:30, coming with very tired kids from Eurodisney, but we were pleasently surprised by this restaurant. The service was fast, my "Chef Salad" was great and my wife's "Ribs BBQ" was also excellent. This kids had the burger and, to finalize the meal, a home-made chocolate mousse was excellent!Very nice surprise and recommend to all those that are in the area

Je me souviens de nombreux restaurants de chaîne en Amérique. Le service était bon et efficace. Ils ont également fourni un menu en anglais qui a aidé, mais les steaks et les burgers étaient grillés, ce qui ne correspond pas à mon goût (les photos dans le menu ne le montrent pas). J'aurais aimé commander du poisson. Tous nos plats étaient très bons et assez bon marché. Aussi des baies décentes.

That was all part of the last stay in France. After a great ride we needed a good meal. Although they were very dressed, they found us all seats. The service was really good and overall the food was really good. The place is a welcome change of two weeks Burger.

Restaurant assez récent. Service satisfaisant. Nous avons pris le menu à 18 euros... l'entrée était correcte, mon steak était bon, mais la crème brûlée n'était pas géniale... pas assez d'œuf, trop de farine.

Restaurant quite new. Service good. We took the menu 18 euros ..entree was okay my steak was good, Creme brûlée not so good...not enough egg too much farine.
