On the basis of a recommendation from acquaintances we were on site with 13 people (the acquaintances were there), but, oh horror, the place was another, changed, shortened menu, but there were heavy prices for it. The service catastrophic when a guest asked for the possibility of a small order deviation, came the pasty-arrogant answer that one is here for restaurant stars and we could go back....You can't take this kind of thing...and we left the place with 13 people... Facity inflexible, high price and arrogant....you can never see how long...
The ambience is tasteful with a light rustic touch. The food (rust roast, Zanderfilet, Ribeye from New Zealand bark, calf liver) was absolutely great, the dessert (Erdbeerpannacotta) a poem! Operation very friendly, the music discreet in the background. The owner came to us several times to find out if everything is okay or something is needed. We were the last guests who left the place without having the impression that it is annoying. Therefore: absolutely recommended if you want to eat up in Filderstadt!
Schönes etwas rustikales Restaurant. Wir würden sehr freundlich empfangen und die Bedienung war auch aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir können es nur empfehlen!

Ambience and service were very good. The food was well prepared but for me too tasteless and therefore no good price performance in my eyes.
Hier gibt es die beste Gans die wir je gegessen haben. Ebenso sind die schwäbischen Spezialitäten zum empfehlen.
Gutes Essen, netter Service, allerdings etwas lange Wartezeit aufs Essen. Portionen könnten etwas grösser sein.
A few small things are still fit, but very tasty and friendly service. But also not really cheap.
