The deer in Unterböhringen is a petty-bourgeois restaurant with predominantly Swabian dishes, which is run as a family business. In addition to the guest room, the economy also has a rustic vault cellar, which can be reserved in particular by groups. We were very kindly received by the service and accompanied by the table we reserve. The drinks and then the orders for the food were received immediately. Very pleasant: we were a larger group of eight people, but all dishes were brought almost at the same time. The service was always the place where drinks or something else had gone out, and you could always change a few words outside the “business” with it. When I couldn't decide for a digestive schnapps from the extensive list of psychic drinks after eating, ask if you could recommend the juniper beer schnapps, I immediately brought you a small free sample. So make the guests happy! Food The menu includes mainly regional, Swabian dishes such as onion roasts, various carvings (panned, hunters or gypsy varieties), beef roasts, etc. You can always choose between Spätzle and Pommes as supplements. Since we were several people, we were finally served on plates. As soon as they went to Neige, they were asked if they were to be persecuted. However, the proportions were so large that we did not even create the “first employment” and therefore did not have to be reordered. On the contrary, if you get a carving, as it is, you get two pieces of it. But one of them is as big as the other. Therefore, some of us also created only one of the two carvings and were able to pack the second. However, the amount of deer is not at the expense of quality. Allen it tastes excellent: the food was freshly prepared, the meat from the peasant next door, and the late Zle was still made by hand. And the house (for the North Germans: fermented apples and pear juice) tastes excellent, fruity and spicy with a pleasant, not too intrusive acidity. Ambiente The restaurant is rustically furnished in rural style and lovingly furnished with all kinds of agricultural and regional objects. The generous seating is very pleasant. You are not sitting on your neighbor's lap, and the tables are far enough, so you can stand up without pushing your backman's chair into the cross. Who goes into the beer tent knows he's tight. In an economy, however, I want to have a little more space around me than the proverbial sardine in the can. Everything is picobello clean and well maintained, also the sanitary facilities. Price/performance ratio Prices are very pleasant. The Schnitzel (paniert, Jäger or Zigeuner Art) costs with supplement and salad by 10 to 11. Euro, the Piglet Hunters Art 11.70 Euro. The litre must be met at 4.80 euros.
