Let me start by saying I have been waiting so long to try this place and now they have outside seating so we stopped by finally! We sat outside in the breezeway seating area which is different but neat for the plaza it is in. So they are now BBQ and Bourbon. Great place to position yourself next to a workout place and a kids gym place that was brilliant marketing if I must say so myself!!!! So let's start with the appetizers we ordered the Jalapeno Mac Bites they were fantastic then came dinner okra, fries, mac and cheese, ribs and pork which was all okay.... My husband and I used His and Hers BBQ to cater our wedding and we were so impressed. We had been there once before to have dinner and it was delicious, but they went above and beyond for us on our wedding day. Carrie was so responsive and helpful, and invited us in for a tasting beforehand. Her husband was the one in the restaurant when we went in for the tasting and to get pricing and he was very accommodating and helpful. All of our wedding guests LOVED the food, and said it was the best brisket they had ever had. This is probably the best BBQ in St Louis. I was really surprised how great the food was. I tried all the BBQ places in town on a quest to find the best and this was the winner. You can tell they really care about the quality of food and they have best servers. My only critique is that they do use a lot of salt on their food and the pulled pork is super dry unfortunately. Also, the music is a little loud depending on where you sit but beyond that it’s good food.
This place is a must go of local BBQ places! Carrie and her husband mastered not only the art of BBQ, but their custom bourbon drinks and BBQ sauce are delightful adds. Not to mention they are super amazing people! Last night they housed our 50th birthday celebration and were super accommodating to our guests. Ever since the ownership change the new owners have shifted focus to their bourbon bar which is fine however the food quality has gone down with a substantial increase in price. It used to be my favorite bbq restaurant in the area but I can no longer say that. Service is decent and it's a clean restaurant

the bbq here is so good! my favorite is the brisket and mac n cheese. the owners are also really friendly and look to always be having a good time! wish they had some greens and cornbread on the menu, but otherwise this is my fave bbq spot! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
