what can I say, great food, great goodness. we visited on Friday evening of our stay in lyme, as it was our high-time anniversary and decided to push the boat, but not exaggerated so (sometimes some good intentions). to go with our first glass lyme bay fizz, we had cockle popcorn and a few fried oysters. Now. cockle popcorn. buy it all right away. it's amazing. battered, fried, served with scotch bonnet mayo. these are also very good, and the mayo has been made with care, not napalm, and therefore is exactly the right level of heat. for beginners my wife had baked scallops, which had a salty, herby crumb that I can still taste, and I had the shellfish soup that was also very delicious. this...

Situated on a steep hill, it offers stunning panoramic views of the Cobb. However, there is no parking on-site, so you’ll need to find a pay-and-display spot on the right side of the road and then make your way up the hill. If anyone in your party has limited mobility, they might consider having their designated driver drop them off due to the hill's incline. For just £1 per person, you can enjoy unlimited table water, and there's a lovely selection of non-alcoholic beverages available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and it was definitely worth the trip. The location is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the service is cheerful. As a delightful surprise, we were even treated to some birthday truffles. The tile fish, burger, and asparagus soup were absolutely divine, seemingly crafted by culinary wizards. Plus, we had the best seats in the house with a stunning view! This is what dining in Britain is all about. Bravo!

We were four elderly customers from London that couldn’t find the restaurant and had walked too far. No problem for The Oyster and Fish House. ‘Tell us where you are and describe yourself we will come and get you’. And we had a lift back up the hill to our car after a brilliant dining experience. Great service, wonderful food and an amazing location. Highly recommended and great value for the quality of food and service. Réservez une table maintenant

What a thoroughly brilliant way to spend an afternoon. Sitting on a lovely open terrace with a great view of the bay, eating a selection of seafood treats, sipping a glass…or four…of chilled rosé and feeling very decadent! The cockle popcorn was a highlight and so was the oyster selection, both the raw and deep fried versions.

We came for lunch service today and everything was fantastic. Front of house staff were lovely, friendly and really welcoming. Our waitress (think it was Hebe) was great. Service was really quick. Food is perfect, simple and just showcases the quality of the ingredients. We will definitely be back, maybe for dinner next time.

What a delight it would be to sit here on a warm, sunny summer evening with champagne and oysters! We truly enjoyed our meal and found Hix Oyster Fish House to be a fantastic spot. Afterward, we strolled to the beach and the harbor.

An almost unbeatable location and the food was excellent. Service was also very good, with friendly, efficient staff. The only negative point was that one waiter's clothing was rather inappropriate. Réservez une table maintenant
