We needed somewhere mid week in Chauvigny for a quick meal. Hoa Binh had tables free and we liked the idea of some Chinese / Thai food. We often have similar meals back home and were a little disappointed with the quality of the food. Samosas were cold in the middle and the Lemon chicken and rice was average at best. The Chinon Red we had was acceptable and not overpriced.However I would say that service was excellent and we could not have expected better. Overall the restaurant was of a standard seen with Chinese Restaurants "back home" 10 / 15 years ago. If you have not eaten much Chinese / Thai food give it a try, if however like us you already have your favourite Chinese Restaurant maybe...
We had a nice meal here after a trip to fabulous market on a Saturday morning.We haven't eaten here before so had to guess at the portion sizes.Once we had chosen and were ordering we checked with the waitress about quanitity and she said it was too much for us and toned our order down.We both shared a DimSum starter for 2 people.We also shared the skewered prawns with a dipping sauce.We shared a Pork Sate for 1 person which was plenty along with our individual rice accompaniments.The restaurant was not very full, however people did come in to order take-away.For us it made a nice change from French cuisine.Large menu, good service, helpful waitress and the food was cooked on the premises.

J'ai passé un très bon repas ici, mais ils n'ont pas beaucoup de clients donc je ne sais pas comment ils s'en sortent. Je suis généralement malade après avoir mangé chinois à cause du glutamate monosodique, mais pas après son repas, donc peut-être que c'est frais et pas tout acheté. Le personnel est très gentil.
Had a very good meal here but they don't have many customers so I don't know how they make it pay. I'm usually ill after Chinese food because of the monosodium glutamate but not after their food so maybe its fresh and not all bought in. The staff are all very nice.
