We visited this restaurant due to the great reviews and expected overaverage food with some twists.The dishes on the menu sounded great, the location was nice (we sat in a inner yard, a kind of a Biergarten) and the service was friendly. Everything started fine and they even had a Belgian beer on the drink menu. When the food came, unfortunately, our satisfaction decreased more and more. My starter, a "carpaccio" on a typical German/Hesse sausage, was apparently not freshly sliced but already bought in slices which made the taste very industrial. we were too gassed yesterday in carbs and took the aperitif out to us despite the changing weather. after that there were the pre- and main dishes that we enjoyed in the lovingly designed dining room. gastgeberin nadine has also given us a look into the incredible atmosphere of a house in the house in the adjacent old rendeler cinema, where events of all kinds can be offered and booked.
