I arrived at my hotel in Hirschau this evening for a business meeting tomorrow morning and was irritated to find that the hotels restaurant was closed on Monday. However I was directed to Högers by the hotelier and now, after a superb meal he is totally forgiven. On such a cold evening a warming soup beckoned and the Onion Soup was probably the best I have ever had. Next the Venison accompanied with mini dumplings and tempura battered vegetables. The batter was just so light and crisp! I hardly had room for sweet but as I gaze on the Panna Cotta I’m just about to eat I know that once more this evening I’ve made the perfect choice.
An exceptional guest house. How had a beautiful large room look at town hall. It was furnished with so much love and so many beautiful details so you can feel right now. Breakfast...a dream.... all that the heart was desired there and the host showed every guest he loves and understands even in difficult times as he currently loves and understands. Everyone who is a guest in hirschau should come here! Unfortunately, I can't say much about the restaurant because our time has not allowed to eat here. The only thing I can say is, it smelled really delicious every evening from the kitchen!!!!
Have visited our family in Hirschau and stayed here for 4 nights. Mr. Hoegers was very kindly greeted and were then accompanied in our room. The room is very cozy and all very clean and well maintained. Always happy and can only be recommended. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
