We ended up there for dinner as it was a Monday and most of the restaurants seemed to be closed in Quedlinburg. It seemed to be the right choice since we were feeling like fish for dinner. As we came in there was nobody to...welcome us and there was no sign of waiter/waitress. After a while a chef came out from the kitchen and told us to sit. We quickly realized that it would be a long wait. There dining area, the kitchen and the bar were very far from each other and the waitress had to take the order go to the kitchen to tell the order go to the bar to prepare the drinks. The restaurant up front does not impress, but walk through to their delightful garden and you have arrived at an oasis of calm and tranquility. We were lucky to have warm weather, so could enjoy the outdoors. On both occasions, the food was better than...expected. The baked fish dishes, mostly served with pan fried potatoes were light and moist. One meal was a fish soup, more like a bouillabaisse but with different flavors. Quite tasty. They serve a variety of beer, and I believe wines. We had Radlers a beer and lemonade mixture, a great thirst quencher. Food is quite good, prices are fair, and service friendly and caring.
Don't be put off by the front of this place there is a lovely courtyard and restaurant behind the shop. There is a very good choice of fish done several different ways. When our meals came the fish was very well cooked tender...and very tasty. The portions are very large! Friendly service as well which is always a bonus. I don't think they took credit cards.
we walked around quedlingburg and slept the great smell of fresh boiling fish. we decided to go in and watch the food. even though there was only one person who spoke English, we could have two meals and a beer...each that was freshly cooked and brought to our table. this is a snack place with tables inside and inside.

the fish restaurant located in the shopping street, with winter garden in the inn, invites you to good fish. Dining has a zanderfilet, very well prepared with petersilienkartoffeln. the meal all came at the same time and the quality was good.For the price completely in order. I can only recommend.
My wife and I ate at this restaurant twice during our stay in Quedlinburg. It was perfect. Great variety at moderate prices. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to this pair of English speakers. We both enjoyed it and preferred it to the fancier...and pricier other eating establishments.

from the way to discover not the same, you get through a small flur into a quiet and beautiful landscaped garden. eating is fresh and imaginative. very recommended restaurant. *************
