Hofcafé Domäne Marienburg

The wonderful ensemble of a medieval water castle has been used by the University of Hildesheim since 1993. The Hofcafé has delicious cakes (free!, in sunny weather the café is crowded on weekends!

The domain ansich is beautiful. I do not understand who granted the building permit for this ugly, non-fitting concrete block.
