After we had a little bit of luck with the dinner location selection on the first night, we looked at a location for the 2nd evening during a walk. here it was just a good idea, and the card also addressed us. the reviews were also top, so the next day we personally made a reservation for the Thursday evening (here was closed on Wednesday night).We were given a very nice cute, we felt very comfortable.Since I had already fished on the first night and there was rinderfilet stroganoff, I decided (as well as my guide) for it. for the first time, for my guide couscous, which convinced him tastefully (and also from the presentation).The rinderfilet stroganoff came then also temporally appropriate...
Unfortunately, the mosel region has a lot of bad home cooking to offer and we were pre-damaged. the recommendation for hoffmanns weinstube was right there!The service was extremely friendly and our personal desires were discussed. the riesling was great for eating and was still mocking (0.3l = 3.50 €). we had: tomato chocolates with jacobs. duet by wolfsbarsch and zander an spargelrisotto with potato and salat (18,40 €). black medallions in black beers sauce (16,90 €). everything was very tasty and cooked on the spot, super! we were finally happy again and that at really fair trips! the portions were rather plentiful and so the schnaps (2,40 €) was a nice conclusion before the taxi picked us...
to the end of our holiday we discover this highlight. small owner-guided restaurant, small room, small map, but feel free to sprout. the wine recommendations fit, the dishes freshly prepared and super-lecker, dessert always goes. apfelsuppe 1 , pork fillet with rieslingkraut and black beersauce super, filet strip on toast tip, desserts grandios. we have often passed the restaurant, but for the happiness we have found in today. we are thrilled and we will definitely come back
in the very tourist Bernkastel-Kues it is unfortunately really hard to get a good food served that shines with a super value for money. After extensive wine purchase in the local vinothek (very recommended) this was suggested locally to me.It is very central. - the first impression was very positiw! not quite the brutal moselromantics from the 60s.Interesting menu - the filet tips I ordered were excellent!Friendly and competent staff!
not located in the old town, the local reviews convinced us to eat on the other side of the mosel to dinner.The burgundy roast with knock and red cabbage was great!!! Also the lavender with chocolate tarts a pleasure!Culinary highly recommended! reservation necessary.
