Went to Hokkaido for the first time. We had a party of 7 which included my 3 grandchildren (6, 3, everything being fresh and tasty. Our server was quick and gracious and very accommodating with the kids which included the inevitable spilled water glass, shrimp on the floor, and of course some running around. The place is rather small and we were the only ones dining in so I don't know how the kids would have made out if it had been crowded. We started with edamame, spring rolls, and vegetable gyoza all of which were delicious. The miso soup was very good as well. My daughter and I had the sushi regular and my wife got 3 sushi rolls. The kids had the shrimp tempura off of the children's menu....
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The haramuki and seafood soup were both delicious (just a heads up, the soup is enough for two!). The sushi was good, with the John’s Island roll being a standout. The restaurant is quite small and casual, lacking in fancy decor or ambiance. However, the service was excellent.
we went for a date night and expected a little more ambiente from the pictures. the half of the room was so advertised and the other half felt like an outgoing center. for a relaxed date, lunch or a quick bite it is perfect. if you want to have fun on the whole round, I would choose another choice.
Really friendly staff and good quality rolls for a reasonable price. The negotiable gyoza was very good. I had the crispy rolls and enjoyed them very much. They have a wide range of items to choose from in the menu and my entire group enjoyed their dinner and we all agreed we would return.

The high volume of takeout orders creates a crowded atmosphere that can almost feel disconnected from the dining experience. It would definitely be beneficial to assign a dedicated staff member to handle this service, as it detracts from the overall enjoyment of dining in.
Dirty restaurant, bad food, and terrible service. In addition to being treated badly, you are treated badly. the girl who answers is very stupid, I will never come back.If I could I would give zero star.
Food was fantastic. The waitress was super sweet. I recommend the fantastic roll or the John's island roll. Happy hour rates are the best.
The service was very slow and inconsistent. But the food was excellent. The pictures of the restaurant were a bit fraudulent!

Super fresh fish, the sushi and sashimi for two was wonderful!
Expecting a habatchi grill but was more of a casual diner.
