It is pretty good. I actually have a Santouka closer to me in Toronto so I've been a few times before I did like how there were multiple options for sizes which I don't believe the one beside me has at least not the Small option). I ordered the Miso ramen which was $12.80, and added a bottle of water for $1. I think it's a bit more expensive than the one at home, since this was a small size and really didn't contain a lot of noodles while the one at home is under $20 CAD $15 USD) for a much bigger size. But I didn't want a huge bowl of ramen anyways, so I was happy to get the small size maybe it was a bit expensive though.The taste has always been good and the Mitsuwa location is consistent....
This particular spot gets PACKED with a very long line if you don’t come in right as they open shop, but there’s a good reason for it- the ramen here is better than any cheap instant ramen you can grab at home. The price is good, the food is good, and if it’s your first time ordering, you don’t have to worry about having enough time to figure out what you want to order- the Shoyu Ramen is so good, I go here every time I’m in Edgewater. Just make sure you take friends along to secure a seat for you all when you go to sit down!
