Oh hey gorgeous Parisian spot in Asheville! The whole ambiance of HF was spot on. Even the bathrooms were cool . The patio was perfectly warm on a super chilly, drizzley night. We started off our evening with our drinks wine, the old fashioned, acheerwine soda for our 11 year old daughter.These were great! For food starters we had the seasoned tomatoes a must order! Wealmost ordered another round! Radishes butter came out and the butter was like.....oh gosh so amazing. We also ordered ourdaughter 's butter noodles which came out promptly. I will say we asked for cheese they had Pecorino which she loves butthere didn 't seem to be any on her noodles. She loves an al dente noodle, but I would suggest maybe taking them just a bitlonger as they were pretty stiff. We also ordered 3 oysters and a cheese similar to manchego to go along with the tomatoesand radish but unfortunately we had to remind our server after about 30 minutes of not ever getting them. Then we were able toorder our entrees. I had the carbonara my husband the steak the cold lobster salad. My husband absolutely loved his oysters super fresh and of superior quality. Our cheese was also delicious the fig jam ? Paired with it was incredible! Greatbread choice as well. Here 's the only real downfall of the meal. It took about 40 minutes to get our dinner orders AFTER weordered them after eating our appetizers. This would seem normal and totally understandable but they didn 't appear very busy 8on a Sunday night . The carbonara had a beautiful smokey flavor from the pork, but saldy missed the mark on the velvety pecorino sauce that you know and love with Carbonara. All the photos on their Instagram also show a egg yolk placed top and center ofthe dish and sadly I didn 't have one. The sauce was watery and the noodles over cooked. Bummer! I make fresh pasta noodles pasta at home frequently so I was a bit let down. My husband 's steak had a beautiful sear with a nice sal
Fabulous restaurant with amazing food! Sometimes, ordinary dishes done extraordinarily right is all it takes. The charcuterie had a good selection from salame to shaved ham to Muenster cheese to blue. The carbonara with fresh pasta was good too but theshow stopper was just the cheeseburger and fries. Soft bun, creamy cheese, sweet onions and pickles, and of course perfectlycooked medium-medium well done beef patty. The fries was handcut crispy fried and partnered with homemade ketchup and mustard.Last but not the least was the sticky toffee pudding that was just divine. The warm pudding topped with a creamy hot caramelplus a vanilla bean ice cream was a wonderful ending to our meal. Our family was a big fan of this place and we'll surely beback!
The place, decoration and ambiance is welcoming. Now the food has flavor, small portion. The cheeseburger good flavor, very good .Not really kids friendly as a lot of the menu is gear more towards adults. Well at least Mon thru Fri But I believe they have abrunch on Sunday that offers more options. Now service on point, very polite, they kept checking on us see how the food waswhich is rare at certain places. Desert amazing. Sticky taffy pudding. To die for. We tried 2 out of the 3 deserts and it wasphenomenal. I recommend this place, but is not gear for picky eaters like my 10 yrs son.
This place is FANTASTIC. The oyster bar is so much fun and the quality of the product is amazing. Our shucker Jordan was the best dude ever and he made our experience so much fun! The manager Trey was also so great! He was so kind and welcoming andbetween the two of them and our server we had THE BEST TIME. Highly recommend this place.
