This place is very nice...not your average steakhouse with blaring music and loud conversation. Very cozy and almost intimate...the lights are low...beautiful stained glass windows and tiffany style chandeliers...oversized booths and gorgeous mahogany woodwork. Very lovely just to sit and enjoy an espresso if nothing else. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of the food and the food is EXCELLENT. I was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant after checking out the menu. When we arrived, the place seemed nice and was nearly empty, so we thought it would lead to a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I was mistaken! The service was terrible. It took a long time for our server to take our order, and when she finally returned, she informed us that three of the items we wanted weren’t available. We adjusted our order, but then it took an additional 15 minutes for the appetizers and soups to arrive, and the chicken soup turned out to be excessively salty. To make matters worse, our entrées took 35 minutes to arrive. We ended up taking our food to go. I had hoped to enjoy my meal...

This is one of my very favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is like 70's California style, with brick and vines so it feels cozy but it's spacious enough to allow diners to enjoy their meals with some privacy. I don't know where they find their chefs because the food is outstanding and always perfectly cooked. My personal favorites are the crabmeat-stuffed mushrooms and the Chicken Marsala. Theirs are the best I've ever tasted. The service is always very good and professional. My husband and I had a layover in Miami the last night of our honeymoon. We wanted to find a local place (no chain restaurants) and found Holleman's on this site with great reviews. Took a taxi from the hotel and we were impressed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was great (I had stuffed lobster tail) and great wine selection. They even called a friend that was a taxi driver to take us back to the hotel!! Will definitely come back the next time we are in Miami!! Thanks!!! Réservez une table maintenant

I found Holleman's through this website. It was amazing. While I had Rack of Lamb $25 with salads and sides my husband had Veal Marsala $18. The menu was full of variety, Froglegs, Steaks, Pasta Fresh Seafood. The wine list had nice selections and was reasonably priced as well. The waitresses love to talk about their restaurant. It is clear they aim to please and are proud to serve. It is now our new favorite restaurant of the beaten path.

This restaurant used to be one of the finest in Miami Springs, but the recent changes in management have led to a decline in quality. The service was slow, and the entrees were served cold.

I had a fantastic experience! It felt just like the Miami of the 1950s. It was a refreshing change from the busy atmosphere of South Beach, Brickell, and Coconut Grove or Coral Gables.
