Holleman's Steak Seafood

This place is very nice...not your average steakhouse with blaring music and loud conversation. Very cozy and almost intimate...the lights are low...beautiful stained glass windows and tiffany style chandeliers...oversized booths and gorgeous mahogany woodwork. Very lovely just to sit and enjoy an espresso if nothing else. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of the food and the food is EXCELLENT. I had the filet minion with rice and Caesar salad for less than 24 bucks...the steak was so thick and juicy...the rice was very tasty as well...the bread was okay....and the butter was tough for lack of a better word...my sweetie had the chicken parmesan which he absolutely loved....he ra...

I looked at the menu from this restaurant and was very excited to eat there. We arrived at the restaurant and it seem very nice plus it was almost empty so we figured it would be a pleasant experience. Boy, was I wrong!!!! The service was AWFUL! They took a long time to take our order and once that took place the waitress came back to inform us that 3 of the things we ordered weren't available. We finally switched the order and the appetizers and soups took 15 minutes to arrive and to top that off the chicken soup was extremely salty. With that said, the entrées took a total of 35 minutes to come to the table. We ended up taking the food to go. I was expecting to enjoy my food in the comfort...

Wonderful experience... it was like the old days in Miami in the '50s. Great change from the hectic pace of South Beach, Brickell, and the Grove or Gables.

This restaurant was one of the best in Miami Springs, but with all the management changes, it has changed for the worse. Slow service and cold entrees.
