The food at this restaurant is amazing, with high quality and generously portioned dishes at reasonable prices. The beer garden offers a lovely location with a great view. The vegetarian options were particularly enjoyed, especially the delicious warmed brie baguette with chips and salad. We visited on a Saturday lunch time for my stepdad's birthday and found the atmosphere to be nice and quiet, and the restaurant very clean. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Overall, we rated the service a 5, the location a 5, and highlighted the great view, quiet ambiance, and excellent value of the restaurant.
really bad experience at this location. the menu did not reflect what was listed on the website. it was february so from the tourist season, so perhaps the reason to storm the reduced menu. eating was bad with taking the chips). The...prawn lees prawn cocktail for beginners was followed by a terrible main meal. we were also cold and asked if they could put another protocol on the wood burner. they did this, but the fire was already out, so that the fire never started again.
We stayed in Richmond for a weeks holiday and had passed this lovely Inn a few times so decided to book a table here. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing, tasty and well presented, so much so, we went back another night. If you want real tasty pub food, this is the place. Its also dog friendly. The beer garden has views to die for. We'll definitely go back next time we're up. Service: 5 Location: 5

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch on our way to Cumbria and were very impressed with the excellent food and service. It is definitely worth making a trip to this quality local pub/eatery. I highly recommend trying the hot beef baguette. Service: 5 Location: 5
Reviews state they do gluten free however this is not a true reflection at all. Arrived at the venue after seeing great reviews for coeliac /GLUTEN FREE and was told ‘ NO we don’t do this’. Very dismissive and disrespectful Service: 1
