We are coming back here! We are started our meal with the Sauerkraut and Sausage Balls. Excellent! Great battered crust, moist inside and flavorful. Then I was surprised by my dinner salad. Ice cold and homemade croutons. The croutons were a fit for us. We had to share these out of a common bowl. The croutons disappeared. Then we had a couple Porterhouses and one Filet. (We ordered the last two Porters) All of our steaks were cooked perfectly and enjoyed every bite. My youngest son was already asking when we could come back since we don't live close by. I recently attempted to get on the waitlist for dinner and was met with rude treatment and even hung up on just because I was asking my girlfriend about the best time. When I called back to place a to-go order, I was told, "Absolutely not! We're way too busy for that tonight!" I was absolutely shocked. What kind of service is that for a small-town restaurant? I've dined there many times—while the food is good, the service has always been hit or miss, but this was by far the worst experience I've had.
Great place but need to get new cooks. I ordered medium well steak and it was barely cooked I sent it back for Re-Fire 2 times and still Rare. The sides are tiny as well as the salad. Service was Not what I would call great.
Very hot inside, 80's another couple came in behind us and they took their order first, I think it's who you know gets serve first because we saw it happen 3 times in our hour half. But steak was good, sides are small

Their cooking is top class!! Everything is done well. They have some value items then also nice steak or seafood. The German appetizers were so good. Kid-friendliness: Nice family atmosphere
My husband and I are the way back to Georgia and stop by to eat dinner. It was amazing. If you ever in Holman, texas you need to stop by Holman valley steakhouse.
We love the country atmosphere and history. Celebrated our 46th wedding anniversary here and will definitely be back with friends for the live music this fall.
A fantastic restaurant! The service was excellent, and the steaks were of high quality, perfectly seasoned. We particularly enjoyed the squash casserole.
