"The Holmefield is a decent place to be on the weekend with karaoke, disco, and lots of fun. The drinks are flowing, making it a good spot to hang out. However, during the rest of the week, it's a completely different story. The poor opening times and lack of people present (except for the older patrons having their daily pint at lunch time) make it less appealing. The service is subpar and the management has changed multiple times, which can be a positive if past managers were unsatisfactory. Despite these drawbacks, the pub itself is not bad, offering plenty of space, a pool room, games machines, and a dart board. There's also an outdoor area for when the sun is out, and party bookings are available if desired."
