Quite literally, Home Grown Market NEVER disappoints!Although I live about an hour away from the Market they have delivery and I often order dinner for my parents and grandparents who are local to Ennis. Every single time I have ordered from Home Grown Market, the food is simply amazing. The presentation is always well put together and delivery is always on time. I think we have tried almost EVERYTHING they sell and it is always so delicious. The Butcher Shop is very clean, and well maintained. The owner is a GEM and very attentive with her clients. Food is always fresh, and high in quality. I recommend Home Grown Market to everyone I know. If you are ever in Ennis, this place is a MUST!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at this restaurant. The food is absolutely incredible—honestly, I'd prefer dining here over any five-star establishment. Lucy, the chef, is not only talented but also a delightful and cheerful person. After moving here from another state, my mom and I decided to give this family-owned local eatery a try, and we were not disappointed. From the sandwiches to the burgers, everything is a must-try, and the fries are just divine. The ranch dressing, both regular and jalapeño, is fantastic. If you haven't visited this place yet, I highly recommend you do! You won't regret it!

I frequently buy Wagyu brisket points from Lucy for family barbecues and neighborhood get-togethers, although my purchases have decreased since the COVID situation. Today, I'm ordering two for Thanksgiving. It truly is the best brisket I’ve ever smoked! Many have said it’s the best they’ve ever tasted. If you want to smoke the greatest brisket of your life, reach out to Lucy and order a Wagyu point. Be sure to follow the pit master’s guidelines on the Thermoworks website and invest in a SMOKE temperature gauge to ensure the best results. You won’t be disappointed!

I recently moved to Ennis and discovered this place. Lucy's kind as she may be. Your Wagyu beef has ruined any other beef for me. I cooked her briskets, fillets and ribeyes... All with excellent results. It is a little expensive compared to shopping in a grocery store, but you get what you pay. If you're looking for something better than average prime, she has what you need. I strongly recommend buying any high quality beef here. They won't be disappointed. Réservez une table maintenant

All the yes!!! Eat here. This shop MUST BE the BEST place in town. While passing through, we tried several different local eateries, but this one KNOCKED OUR SOCKS OFF. We are making sure to order some food to go.... we were definitely left wishing our stomachs were bigger. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Good selection of meals to take home and cook. Offers Wagu beef. They have desserts also. However, as they are prepared onsite, daily, there may not be all dishes available. We like the King Ranch style chicken casserole. If you don’t like spicy skip this one.
