They've already visited twice in two days and are eager to return for another coffee. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides quick, quality service. The coffee is fantastic! I ordered the Thai Breve both times, opting for alternative milk instead of half and half. It adds just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the smooth espresso. We cycled to see the surgical murals in downtown and needed a place to warm up and recharge with some calories. While we were sitting there, we discussed how Homer's Coffee House was a great place for a 1st (or 1000.) Date would be; beautiful lighting with open space. I had the best cinnamon roll I ate in two decades. The Mocha Latte was perfect. Definitely on my surgery in downtown must stop the list. There are only so many mornings to enjoy!
The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, making it a great spot to enjoy a drink and soak up some knowledge. The food is absolutely delicious. As a coffee enthusiast, I truly appreciate a place that understands how to make a traditional espresso macchiato. On my last visit, the milk was a bit oversteamed, but overall, I was quite pleased with the experience.
Coffee shop, friendly staff for the most part. Coffee was what was needed for the beginning of the day. They have pastries and some more savory types of selections (quiche from what I could see. live music during the weekends. Found this place while making the trek down to Microcenter from the Northland. Love the coffee and staff here. The facilities are very well taken care of as well and there is plenty of space to not only safely social distance but to get work done, read a book or catch up with a friend.
Homer’s is a fantastic addition to the old OP, especially when it comes to their baked goods. All the muffins, scones, bundt cakes, and brownies have a homemade quality and are incredibly delicious. Don't miss the opportunity to indulge in these treats while you're here!
