We’ve been here at least a dozen times over the last year or two. Locals. Enjoy the atmosphere and service is always very friendly, but as others have noted very inconsistent. You might go 20 minutes or more without seeing anyone and have to flag someone down and get your own water refilled. Also this is the 2nd time in a row I’ve been really disappointed with portion size and quality of food. Sometimes food is good, other times the same dish will be not good the next time you come. Recently I had the Tagrashi salmon bowl and it was basically an appetizer for $17. A tiny slice of salmon that cannot be called a fillet, a small serving of rice, a handful of lettuce, and three small slices of a...

In a word, Homestead is disappointing. Although they show promise and potential, they fall short of expectations. It's the small details that matter, like serving a warm Manhattan without a cherry, not having the table set despite our reservation, and needing to ask for silverware. Given the prices, the portion sizes are meager. For example, the haddock dish that is supposed to come with scallops and shrimp featured only half a scallop cut in two and just two tiny shrimp. The salmon served with risotto was actually accompanied by plain white rice, and when we inquired, we were told they ran out of risotto—would we like some extra green beans instead? As for the artichoke dip appetizer, it wa...

Initially, I was pleased to see that the restaurant hired new staff because we've always enjoyed the food here. However, we had avoided this place for a while due to previous harassment from the servers. Fortunately, it feels safe to return now. The new service was wonderful, and the staff even wore Pride pins. Although they occasionally forgot orders and took a bit longer, the overall experience was positive. The restaurant itself is clean and has a modern, cozy atmosphere, including well-maintained bathrooms. The food was excellent; I always opt for the soup of the day, and the crème brûlée cheesecake was simply amazing. They also offer outdoor seating with comfortable chairs, and I apprec...

One of the nicest vibes in the area is marred by consistently inattentive service. The waitstaff are friendly and pleasant but my experience over the last two years is that once your order is placed you won’t see anyone again for a long time. No check-in to see how the food is, no offer of water with your drink. If something is wrong with your order you’ll have to work hard to get someone’s attention or else be prepared to get up from your table to approach a hostess or waitstaff. As I write this I’m experiencing this again as usual and listening to the party at the next table complain about the same thing. Again, friendly staff but simply not attentive to your dining experience. More traini... Réservez une table maintenant

Forget about five stars; this place deserves six! The fresh and diverse bakery items are amazing, and the homemade meals are fantastic and delicious. The service is friendly and reasonably priced. It’s one of my favorite spots for breakfast or lunch! Highly recommended!
