Oh my goodness. Good good good food. Fried calamari was amazing crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, drizzled with some amazing creamy lemony (aka magic) sauce. Ahi Tuna bowl was on point really good quality tuna, seared just right with the inside still rare as it should be, served over rice, avocado, magic sauce, crisp greens. Initially, I was pleased to see that the restaurant hired new staff because we've always enjoyed the food here. However, we had avoided this place for a while due to previous harassment from the servers. Fortunately, it feels safe to return now. The new service was wonderful, and the staff even wore Pride pins. Although they occasionally forgot orders and took a bit longer, the overall experience was positive. The restaurant itself is clean and has a modern, cozy atmosphere, including well-maintained bathrooms. One of the nicest vibes in the area is marred by consistently inattentive service. The waitstaff are friendly and pleasant but my experience over the last two years is that once your order is placed you won’t see anyone again for a long time. No check-in to see how the food is, no offer of water with your drink. If something is wrong with your order you’ll have to work hard to get someone’s attention or else be prepared to get up from your table to approach a hostess or waitstaff. My wife and I needed some good food after a long day, and really didn't want fast food. Fortunately, Homestead has some delicious food and drinks. We liked the comfy seats in the contemporary interior definitely sets the tone for theexperience. The Seafood Tuscany dinner was perfectly prepared the haddock was just right rather than overcooked as is toooften the norm at other restaurants. We loved the rich truffle and pork sauce in my truffle pappardelle. Every meal we've hadhere has been delicious and the Homestead is just an enjoyable place we'll be back!
Forget about five stars; this place deserves six! The fresh and diverse bakery items are amazing, and the homemade meals are fantastic and delicious. The service is friendly and reasonably priced. It’s one of my favorite spots for breakfast or lunch! Highly recommended!
My friend and I visited last weekend, and wow! The food was absolutely delicious! Our server, Owen, was not only very friendly but also extremely efficient with our drinks and food service. Thank you for a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this place!
The clam chowder was lacking, with only potatoes and not much else. They advertise that the salmon is from Maine, but its color and texture suggest it isn't wild-caught. The risotto was undercooked as well. I won’t be returning.
