Hometown Charm Cafe

This place was a cute little diner that was a great place to catch up with a friend. We went the morning of July 4th and whoever the cashier/waiter was was super nice! I think his name was Brady. He greeted us with a warm, genuine smile. He checked on our table often. And even after we paid, my friend and I kept chatting for a long while but he came back to refill our coffee and water! Usually I feel pushed out of restaurants once the payment has been made but I felt welcomed here and like I was a personal family or friend of the place. Highly recommend. Used to work here and can agree with the negative reviews that April is a terrible manager. Micro managed extremely bad to the point where you can’t even focus on your actual job. Not to mention I worked a busy 4th of July as the only server in the restaurant and she was micro managing per usual and we ended up getting into an argument and she never gave me my tips from that day and blocked me on everything. I wonder what other pay she kept from me. It’s okay I’m sure she needed it more than I did. Very shady lady! Just look at all the other one star reviews with her name in it. If you want great service and way better food, check out Meridian cafe!

This place has become a regular stop of ours. It’s in DT Sumner which is the coolest place. Their chicken fried steak is FIRE! We highly recommend it! It has a comfortable, small town-country style vibe to it which we love. The staff is the friendliest and we always feel welcomed. The food is always great, the cinnamon roll is bomb, the coffee is enjoyable, and we continue to come here until we can’t anymore!

First time visiting and enjoyed it all. The service was extremely friendly and the food good. We got pancakes, an omelet, and a fruit pebble pancake for our little one! Service was always attentive friendly the entire time. Will definitely come back! Réservez une table maintenant

Cozy restaurant with great atmosphere and service. The staff were cheerful and made sure everything was taken care of. Delicious eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and hashbrowns and an order of the Reuben sandwich with some of the best fries!

I had a nice breakfast here today, although the portion of hash browns that came with my omelette was a bit small. A larger serving would have been appreciated.

The food is excellent, but it often takes a long time to be seated, place an order, and be served. During my most recent visit, it was also quite cold inside.
