Absolutely terrible experience. Not informed there was a 40 minute wait for food when ordering. We had to order alternative to what we wanted from the menu as they had no baguettes. Forty minutes after ordering we were informed one of the orders would be incomplete with ingredient. We complained that we had not been informed of the wait, resulting in a very inappropriate assistant manager (Chloe) arguing we had been informed. We asked her to check the bar CCTV to verify this. We requested the incomplete offering be cancelled and reminder of the order be fulfilled. Only a Childrens meal was produced leaving adult meal outstanding. At no point was an apology or compensation mentioned for a ruined meal and experience. Obtained a refund after challenging Chloe who responded with “your shouting” which categorically was not the case. Formal complaint lodged with Marstons. AVOID AT ALL COST TERRIBLE !!!
