What a wonderful cafe! We dropped by last Sunday for our dad's birthday lunch and thought it was the most interesting joint we could find on the street. Apart from some very cute children having babycinos, the venue was very pleasant with beautiful daffodils on the tables and an interesting artwork behind the counter. I thought the lighting could have been a bit brighter but appreciated the elegance that comes with intimate lighting. We heard that the place was under new management and with a new menu. Thought I would go and try something new in crows nest for brunch. Wow! I think I have found the next place to be!! A chilled out cafe that has a great vibe even when you are not feeling so fresh. Welcomed by friendly staff we browsed the menu. Perfect all day breakfast. My friend and I where recommend the his & her breakfast! The perfect hangover cure to say the least! This breakfast was perfect. Perfectly cooked haloumi, half a ripe Avocado, Roma tomatoes, poached eggs, mushrooms and spinach for the price there was no shortage of food here! Defiantly recommend this cozy venue. I have found my new hangout!! Will be back for sure!

here with friends and family on the other day; great potential as new management has recently moved. could use with a thema, instead of just cafe' but, and ambiente and lighting a bit boring compared to other shops in the opposite. menu could use with a rebuild, want to see some interesting special and less wall-of-texts. personal very professional, especially the Middle Ages Fellow, who draws the chalkboard menus. would be a great time overall, would come back when the problems are dealt with.

all previous reviews of this place on zom are either 5’s or 1’s from very occasional users. I can definitely say that the place was neither of the extremes. on Saturday to brunch, it was not super busy, but there were some other tables of diners. my crisp French toast was a bit under-par. crunchy proves to be deep fried, shaped in a long block, it was more like a fried donut, a bit hard chew inside, I couldn't finish it. the service coffee was okay.
I was very impressed with this cafe. It was my first visit and it definitely wont be my last. It is apparently under new management and it looks like they are doing a wonderful job. The food we had was all really fresh and delicious, coffee was tasty and the service was exceptional. Everyone was really friendly and service was prompt and efficient. I know there are many cafes in this area but this will be my go to from now on!
nice staff but will never compare to Jamie's kitchen (who they took over). staff can't get any order right so don't bother trying to add an extra or even asking for a certain type of bread. food otherwise is average, lots more better places in crows nest to go
French toast for days. How thick is the dead guy here? it was so delicious and the maple syrup, the fruits and the custard filling were the ultimate breakfast look. in any case have to eat! the peanut butter smoothie also went a tasty, ice cream galore.

Atrocious service. Staff are clueless. Not sure how this cafe stays in business. Plenty of people just left their tables after waiting too long.
