We have been to Honkaku several times and really like it. The decor is nice, the staff super friendly and helpful, the tables comfortable spaced out, and the food is amazing. The prawn tempura is light and crispy. We always go for the teppan and have had on different occasions giant prawns, scallops and mixed seafood (prawns, scallops, salmon and squid). The teppan comes with a miso soup, white rice and a generous portion of vegetables also cooked on the teppan, so it is quite filling. The wine selection is good and we really enjoyed the staff’s suggestion. Honkaku is a regular treat! P.S. Honkaku will also do take-away which is a good thing to remember if they are fully booked!
Mon dernier coup de cœur.Nous y sommes allés plusieurs fois et nous avons vraiment tout adoré. L’accueil est extrêmement sympathique et avec les enfants aussi. La cuisine est délicieuse, une vraie grande table japonaise à prix corrects. Le restaurant vaut la peine d’être connu et recommandé. J’y retournerai 100 x au minimum. Le restaurant est agréable et très joliment décoré, il convient à des repas d’affaires comme à des repas familiaux.
