Hook Line Sinker - Réservation de table

We have eaten here when we come to St. Thomas over many years and it was always a very busy and wonderful place to dine. On this occasion we went and were surprised to find it nearly empty. We had a table outside, again with no problems as it was empty of diners and it’s nice to sit by the water, which is about the only good thing about our experience. The menu had changed and our waitress explained that it was the new, new menu as the owner sometime ago changed the old menu into another and have now changed it to this menu which leaves off several favorites like conch fritters. The back room which I was always full before is now a store room and they were only one or two tables with diners...

We came because we saw the crab legs in the menu. However there was no crab legs , they informed us that since their well known chef left , Now there is no crab legs in the menu daily. , only on Sundays . I wish it was indicated somewhere . I ordered lobster and my husband ordered blackened tuna fish but it did not look like on the picture. I tasted it and it was not that great . My husband said it was good though . My lobster was good . We were seating out side . Inside it was not that nice . In the toilet there was no soap. Overall it was a positive experience , just with minor problems . My coconut drink was good . Thank you .

We’ve enjoyed eating at HLandS over the years, but haven’t been to St Thomas since twin hurricanes and Covid. We were happy to see HLandS is still there! The food was delicious and prepared with care- almond-encrusted swai (especially delicious), and grilled snapper. Homemade key lime pie for dessert. Yum! Pleasant and efficient service, and beautiful setting, eating outside overlooking the water.

They were not open! We counted on open table to make reservations only for restaurants that were in fact open. This was not the case here. They were closed for the season. Luckily we found a table at another nearby fine restaurant. We were very disappointed. Réservez une table maintenant

It’s the off-season, so the restaurant was empty when we arrived at 6:30. The staff was very gracious, seeing to our every need with a smile and good banter. The seafood was fresh and prepared well. Everyone had a good meal.

Hook Line and Sinker was a restaurant we always dined. This year the place was empty. We sat at the bar and the bartender was excellent (Bruno), but I would wait until it get back to normal.

The food was good and the staff was very friendly! The service alone would make me go back. Outdoor eating was relaxing!

On the waterfront in Frenchtown. Casual attire, nautical atmosphere, good food, very good service, pleasant people. Réservez une table maintenant

Weren't open. Even though they allowed a reservation we showed up and they were closed
