I visited on a Thursday evening around 430pm, the place was not crowded and I was able to place my order quickly. They have some pretty unique burger choices, but don 't worry they still offer a classic burger. I ordered the tomato bacon jam burger, honestly it was just ok. The meat was too salty for me and the tomato bacon jam was blah. The Parmesan fries are good when hot, they came out first which I don 't understand that. One of the better additions to the midtown dining scene. Great ambience, food, drinks and service. Their cocktails menu is a little short but they have a well stocked bar with all the known brands. High tables mostly with a few regular ones. Not very noisy. They have many different types of burgers and any of them can be made veggie or chicken and so on. Their starter menu is a limited to fries which is a minus because they have a full bar and beer and people would like to have something to munch on other than fries if they are there for drinks only. All in all a positive addition to the city and midtown.
I have made several visits to Hopdoddy because they have the best boozy milkshakes. Unfortunately, the last 4 times I was there the one thing I really wanted, the boozy shake, either was made without booze, or the bar never even made it. Twice, my drink was ready as I was getting up to leave (after eating my food). This drink is not exactly cheap, so to avoid this bit of frustration in my life, I don't go there anymore. BTW- The burgers are big and greasy and the fries aren't bad either.
1st time and I will be back!!!!! Even though it was very busy service was still quick and awesome from the time I walked in til I left. I did find it hard knowing who my waitresses or waiter was at first but everyone that came to the table where friendly smiling and helpful. Our waitress Macy was really good her attitude was perfect and she was funny along with great service. The food was good if I had to call it I would say it is like a more vibrant upscale five guys

Wow, amazing burgers and fried. We had the parmesan truffle fries and I'd probably say that they were probably the best fires we've ever had, seasoned perfectly. Tried the Doddy Melt and the Goodnight burger. Both were perfect, seasoned well and cooked and served as requested. Probably one of the best burgers I've had for a very long time. Venue and atmosphere are great, service was excellent.
The impossible burger is excellent!!!! If you go “all vegan” with vegan mayo and cheese, it’s about $14 which is overpriced but delicious! This place also has a big beer selection, super friendly staff and the whole building is very modern industrial. I’ve eaten here several times and never had a bad experience, just wish they would drop the impossible burger to a reasonable price.
My husband and I have been here a couple of times. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The food is good. My husband loves the chicken tenders. We both love their happy hour fries. We really enjoy the different fry options, we usually get 2 different ones for the table to share. Goodnight/good cause has an interesting coffee bbq sauce which is good. Bacon jam double is madness on a bun, cheesy deliciousness bites you back. Llano poblano I don't speak Spanish but esta hamburguesa es muy rica.

Update: Hopdoddy reached out and made sure I had a good experience at my next visit. Added a star back!Original: Have had great experiences at the place before, but ordered the El Diablo for takeout and once I got home, I only saw one jalapeño on the burger? Not a good look.
