My husband suggested this on the way to another eatery. I have been there before, but Joe hadn't. He was pleasantly surprised just how lovely it was. Tasty food, clean tables AND MENUS, which is how I rate somewhere to eat. Friendly staff and good prices. And hubby was very happy with the beer too. Perfect!

You will not find a pub with more friendly helpful staff anywhere. I went for an unplanned meal with the family, food was lovely well presented, didn't have to wait very long. There's a wide range of real ales, I had lemon dream it was fabulous. I will definitely go again. Top marks.

the local of my choice, excellent eating, excellent staff, great selection of drinks and a decent pint! large round pub for all age groups.
