Very nice, cozy pub just off Harbour Street in Ramsgate Town centre. They have a Petanque (Boule) pitch ,mainly for matches and there own team who practice there daily. Shepherd and Neame pub with an excellent selection of beers. The bar staff are very friendly and helpful. Dogs are welcome, we'll behaved ones. There is a small garden to enjoy the sun and your beer. If you are ever in Ramsgate it's well worth a visit, they open at 10am. Live music regularly!

We went for an evening meal. It was quite disappointing. My wife's chicken skewers had hard overcooked lumps in it. I had the steak and ale pie. The pastry was undercooked, less said about the mash the better the only vegetable being an extravagant measure of peas. To cap it the juke box was put with some very loud shouting music with some choice language. We paid up and left.

Popped in for a post work pint on a Friday with my brother. Fantastic little pub tucked away with a beer garden at the back. Great range of beers and very old pub games too. Staff were excellent too.

Average pub, good entertainment, cask ale not well. A little pricey. Would recommend the delicious Sunday lunch, good value.

Stopped in for lunch and a drink and enjoyed it. Rustic place, but friendly and the pie and mash I ordered was nice.
