Hostal Del Foix

I have visited this restaurant on two occasions, once on a weekday and once on a Sunday. The three course meal including drinks is of excellent value. It is not a fancy restaurant but very honest. Full of locals from all walks of life. The atmosphere is wonderful with lively chatter mixed with a wonderful smell of food. First visit had Paella which was excellent, followed by pork which was nice finishing up with pudding (cross between creme caramel and bread pudding) which was lovely. Second time around had the pasta, chicken and again pudding. Plenty of food to keep you full for the rest of the day and all for super value price.

Dined here twice. The set evening menu the lunch time Chicken chips were very good value. Service was very good the food was hot and cooked well too. Ask for the menu in English although MS Translator worked weld on the Spanish typescript .

We've been going to this place for years for their tasty, varied and good-value menu del dia and menu in the evening. You can't go wrong.

Very good service. Food average and good value. The terrace is very nice to have coffee under the shadow of the trees.
