We chose Cotignac as a stopover on our way back from Umbria, and what a delight this proved to be. We had a splendid room, large and with a large bathroom ensuite. The whole place seems to have been refurbished recently.The restaurant is closed on Mondays, but there are numerous bars and restaurants within strolling distance and when we did eat in the restaurant it was a very jolly experience. The Patron and his wife have a really good place here, and Cotignac is a proper little centre well worth the visit. We shall be there again!
We decided to stay another night in this quaint little french village after attending a wedding at nearby chateaux Robernier. we called on the off chance that a room was available and we were quickly shown to a good size double with a lovely modern and sizeable en suite bathroom with lots of little extras. we only had breakfast but this was outside in a lovely courtyard , bread croissants and conserves, very french.The husband and wife team running it were very pleasant and helpful, giving us directions to our next destination.
J'ai récemment séjourné ici pour 1wk . J'ai voyagé avec une personne handicapée et rien n'était un problème qu'ils avaient des rampes pour aider avec les marches et un ascenseur. Les planchers de chambre étaient en bois qui rendait le déplacement de la poulie plus facile. Les lits auraient pu être un peu plus haut ou quelque chose pour l'élever mais un endroit vraiment bon pour rester.
A delightful four day stay in a charming and lively village.Clean and cheerful room with good size bathroom and importantly, a comfortable bed.Breakfast was enjoyed in the colourful , leafy courtyard, just a step from the Main Street lined with plane trees.Busy market on a Tuesday at the door and the boule " courts" close by if you are so inclined!ChRming and helpful hosts.
