Hostellerie Saint Louis

Nous sommes déjà venus ici et cette fois-ci c'était aussi bien que la dernière fois. La chambre était propre et très confortable, et il est difficile d'imaginer un personnel plus agréable et serviable. Je recommanderais surtout de manger au restaurant. De la nourriture fraîche et délicieuse, et un chariot à desserts à tomber par terre. Il faut environ 40 minutes en voiture depuis l'eurotunnel et même si le village est agréable, il n'y a pas grand-chose à y faire.

not quite sure what to make of the cooking here. It's rich, creamy and buttery and definitely not michelin star quality but it seemed well cooked and fresh. service was adequate, ambience a little staid, pricing okay....but there was something just a bit strange. Perhaps its Flanders / Belgian influence or a combination of both? Won't be visiting again but certainly an experience.

We'd spent all day driving up from the Dordogne and this place was recommended by our B&B. It was a lovely meal with good service (a bit too formal for my taste but that's probably just me) and given that we were tired, a bit grumpy even, it's saying something that we floated out of there in a very mellow mood and after only a couple of glasses of wine.

Well it's been a while since we were last at the St Louis, but glad to say it's still great. The team are still well up there, friendly and welcoming. But the food, what is there to say, possibly the best food you will taste. Defiantly a must for a break in dull February. Réservez une table maintenant

We stayed at the hotel on our way home. The food is outstanding, all l,local produce, beautifully prepared, presented and served. Restaurant staff are great - no issues in understanding our needs since their English is excellent. A must return trip!

I have been coming here for many many years as a couple,with friends,in a largish group and with family. It just gets better and better. The rooms are very comfortable and the food superb. Bea and her staff could not be more helpful.

Essayez le foie gras. Essayez le ris de veau. Waaw. Les "amuses" sont également très bons. Tout est super, et vous n'avez pas à attendre longtemps. Le plus surprenant : le prix. Pas du tout cher.

We visited last year prior to our channel crossing. We did not hesitate to come again. A comfortable stay. Handy for Calais or Dunkirk. A little dated decor wise but the restaurant is excellent. Réservez une table maintenant

Le repas du soir était servi de manière simple et pourtant semblait être servi spécialement pour chaque convive. La qualité de la nourriture était bonne et le vin également.

3rd time staying here, and the food, both in choice and presentation, was first class. Free "little extras" also appreciated, and a well stocked wine cellar.
