Hot Mama Noi's Thai On The Fly

The title says it all! We were really shocked considering the reviews, but on our first try the food was terrible and we will never return. The spring rolls were full of overcooked mushy glass noodles and had no flavour. The mango in the mango salad was over ripe and the salad was just thrown together with no seasonings or dressing, no dressing provided to put on it. The chicken pad Thai was AWFUL- totally bland with overcooked mushy noodles with 3 tiny pieces of chicken, counted 5 wilted bean sprouts and a bit of crushed nuts. This is a great small restaurant in Pickering that serves really tasty Thai meals. The service is fast & the food is served hot with excellent flavour. The gentleman who is the server is super friendly and very quick with the jokes. Makes a great place to stop by for a good meal. I recommend the Spring rolls, Pad Woonsen & the Green Curry. You won't be disappointed. Mama knows how to cook.

Good local Thai food and a nice change from the chain Thai restaurants. Lots of flavour and good sized portions. It has won awards from Thai organizations for maintaining authentic cooking. If you like Thai food you have to try it. It is a bit hidden in the industrial plaza on the north side of Bayly east of Liverpool.

Used to love it! Always ordered lots to leftovers the next day. But last time, we barely touched it and threw out the leftovers. Food was bland, vegetables overcooked, authentic thai ingredients, like Thai basil, were missing. Afterwards, I heard "mama Noi" retired? Maybe that explains it

LOVE LOVE LOVE! We've eaten here maybe 15 times over the years. It's always amazing, always delicious. The Spring Rolls are the best. I've actually seen Mama make them right there fresh. great take out food. The Best Thai restaurant in Pickering.

Odd little spot in the strip plaza by the Go Train Station. Real hot spot for Hydro employees. I love the Pad Thai and the Cashew Chicken is amazing too! Not fancy by any means. A quick meal for sure - fast food style.

We've been going to Hot Mama Noi's for years - it's our family favorite! Every dish is amazing, I might say the best tasting Thai outside of Thailand! ...and Mama Noi is quite the character :)

Simply put this is the best Thai food I have ever had and I've been a lot of places! The masaman curry is particularly exceptional but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Saw the name and decided that we should try it out. The menu is small but mighty. Fast very friendly service and the pad Thai was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back.

Tasty food and great quick friendly informal service! Vegetarian options with tofu are yummy. Spicy.
