A hot pot buffet restaurant with very nice setting which makes it a comfortable oriental atmosphere. The waitresses were very nice and friendly, even they were not very well-trained. We were a large group of 8. Our soup bases were messed up. But we simply accepted whatever they brought to us. All meats, like beef and lamb, were very fresh and with good quality. However, the seafood was just so so. Especially the shrimp paste, there was too much starch and water added so
Best quality meat out of the hot pot places I've been to in the area. You order from an iPad and the staff are pretty quick to bring out your orders. You can choose between a large pot or a personal pot for each person. There is a sauce bar near the entrance for making your own custom hot pot dipping sauce. Amy and the others are great and very accommodating.
We visited this Hot Pot Hero Gaithersburg at the lunch time today 4/16/22. The manager Amy was very nice in entertaining us. She and her staff were all friendly, courteous and professional. The hot pot foods we ordered were fresh and delicious. We enjoyed so much that we will be back with our friends in the future.
A fun and aromatic experience! Sort of like melting pot but better. You get a soup base that you can cook and ingredients to dump in. With a sauce and spice bar. Not only is the food excellent but it constantly bubbles and steams in front of you, which open and freshens up your sinuses.
