The beautiful weather with sunshine drew the Münster countries back to the wheel. Also my wife and I spent the day in the saddle and enjoyed the beginning of spring. After a few kilometers we reached the Bentheimer Kurpark at 2 pm and looked at whether there was a possibility to return and delete hunger. Unfortunately, as usual, the kitchen was open at noon and evening. So we went further towards Bad Bentheim. On the way there we saw the old railway station where a hotel restaurant is now operated. this was my second visit to this hotel and its excellent restaurant. I didn't have to wait long until the waitress sat on my table, and it was only good that I speak something German, because she couldn't English. she told me that because of the proximity to the Dutch border, which is only 12 km away, she speaks German and Dutch. this would explain the number of Dutch in the restaurant. After I had ordered my carving and carving, I waited a little longer than planned, but that gave me the opportunity to drink some of the excellent beers. that waited was rewarded, because the food was excellent. I have no complaints and can highly recommend this restaurant and the hotel.
we stayed in this hotel and decided to stay in the restaurant and eat there. there is a choice between a fixed menu or “à la carte”. we chose the latter which was not at all bad. the duck we had was tender and really good (from bresse france). the filetsteak was rose and perfectly prepared. something nice and a selection of good weeping made it a really beautiful surprise. all in all a good service! if you do not want to choose the menu, simply select a simple curry sausage if you want. it shouldn't be all chic. I really enjoyed the stay and dinner at this place.
the chef is a presumptuous cook that is not even able to prepare a decent pasta dish as soon as the guests have included the dinner in the price. when we complained about the bad quality of eating, we were not taken seriously by the staff. the kitchen at high level is appropriate, apart from some terrible errors in the balance and some repetitions in taste and ingredients in the course of the menu. presentation is clearly more important than the rest and hospitable? well, we think that the employees should go back to school better.

Good hotel! I think it's weird that I'm parking for 1st freedom and paid for the other and the amounts are very different. We had to pay 4.50 P.N. and acquaintances from our 7.50 p.N. Something we didn't report to check and it's not on their website. We're booked by action of the day, and it's not on it either. Make this clear on your website.

the restaurant has a atmospheric look with chic elements. eating it is paradies to tho love reserve ribs and burgers. there are hardly any options for vegetarian or vegan. the served eating was hard hot, the suppe was cold as the service.
very good breakfast. was all you need. only the rooms would not always suck. 5 nights there, no one was sucked, cleaned. toilet paper was not filled. ala carte eating was great.
