Waitress was lovely and pleased to see several vegan choices on the menu. Was disappointed though when both main courses came minus an element chips with the burger and kofta with the curry. (Manager did come over and explain that kofta wasn't vegan despite it saying menu that dish was veggie and dairy free and offered an alternative but partner's meal was then ready so didn't want to hold up the meal so declined. Both meals really tasty and obviously freshly prepared. However menus both a bit unclean smear of chocolate (I hope on front of drinks menu. Overall quite underwhelmed with the experience.
Not much into shopping, its a bit of a necessary evil but walking around Leeds City Centre I couldn't resist dropping into Hotel Chocolat and what a very pleasant experience. The shop is cool ,its cozy ,inviting and the staff are so welcoming, we were greeted warmly and we got some real quality chocolates plus some liquors, all in all a super visit.This Hotel Chocolat is easy to locate along Boar Lane by Trinity Shopping Centre. Opening hours are;Monday to Saturday, Open from Sunday, Open from Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
Velvetiser Owners Club probably the best adult decision yet Fancy a hot chocolate my brother-in-law asked. Being sceptical, I said Erm, go on then Milk, sachet velvetised. I have never looked back.Straight to the Leeds store to buy the Velvetiser in charcoal (comes with cups) and sachets. Get off with the app.Friendly staff at Leeds. Watch the documentary for an inside view of how Hotel Chocolat conduct themselves. They are ethical and inventive, but you pay for quality.
We visited the restaurant for the second time and once again, the food was just as delicious as before. The main courses are unique but very tasty, and the desserts are so good that you never want them to finish. I don't understand why this restaurant isn't more popular, as it always seems to be quiet whenever we go, even on different evenings.

The welcoming was good. Food took a while to be on the table especially that it was a quiet evening, it tasted okay, but portions were tiny. I had seabass with spinach and chocolate fondant and was still hungry not greedy. Overall not bad, not great, with a rather average customer service due to repeated mistakes on the bill.
We enjoyed our position in the restaurant, sat by the window. Our waitress was lovely. She was very helpful with suggestions from the menu. We loved the great choice of rums. The food was tasty and different. I thought the prices are above the norm, but was prepared to pay this as was for a special occasion.
I treated my mom to a birthday lunch at this restaurant and we had a fantastic experience. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to celebrate my mom's special day. The food was excellent, well-plated, and delicious. I'm looking forward to returning again soon.
I cannot fault the quality or taste of the food. The portion sizes are extremely small and I was still hungry after eating. The prices are high for the portion size.

Interesting Use of chocolate across all the dishes. Excellent selection of rums suitable to pair with dessert as well as a solid wine list and craft beers
We had a great time eating here. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. It's a perfect place for people-watching.
