Hotel de france - Réserver une table

The hotel is located in a 16th coaching inn. century and has retained its character. The room was comfortable, although there is no elevator to climb some stairs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There are parking spaces on the street you had to pay. We ate both nights in the restaurant and had good meals. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had only a few light handles that Wi Fi broke out and the temperature of the water in the shower was not so hot, but none of these things spoiled our stay. The location is great to explore the area and the Courbet Museum.

I would not spend $27 (drinking only tap water) for lunch here in the USA, but since I wanted nice lunches with friends in France, this is what I had been paying. What I ate was good, but not memorable, except for the dessert. That ice cream was worth every calorie. I also enjoyed the refined atmosphere of this restaurant and the attentive service. Ornans has the home of painter Gustave Courbet. The house is now part of a new museum. I was glad to have visited there for the third time over several years, this time stopping for lunch.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our dinner at this hotel last week. We both had a salad which was high quality and delicious. I had profiteroles for desert which was also good. Service was good and friendly.

Exquisite food served in a charming restaurant. Magret de canard expertly prepared with an outstanding cherry sauce. Fantastic cheese selection. Great value and charming staff.
