Hotel de la Paix Restaurant

We visited this hotel and ate in its restaurant back around 2003. It was an acceptable French hotel with lovely food and a decent choice of wines.We revisited in 2016 and it has been transformed. The hotel for the better, an extensive refurbishment that has left it outstanding and individual - no chance of thinking you are in a 'Eurobox' standard hotel. A delightful place to stay whilst visiting The Somme.The restaurant is still very good, there's not a lot of competition in Bapaume anyway. J'ai passé 7 nuits ici à visiter les champs de bataille de la Première Guerre mondiale, j'ai pris cet emplacement comme central pour "la région de la Somme" et facile à trouver près de l'autoroute de Calais. A tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un séjour relaxant, en un seul endroit. Chambres très propres, lits confortables, super douche, coin salon, bar et restaurant. Petit-déjeuner continental avec beaucoup de choix, la nourriture au restaurant est exceptionnelle, le chef nous a servi un plat principal. Stayed here for a long weekend with my parents. Had a wonderful stay as the hotel is in a perfect location to visit the Somme battlefields. The hotel is spotlessly clean, breakfast was a perfect start to the day. We had dinner in the restaurant on one occasion but all agreed that we should have eaten there more. Would definitely recommend

Welcoming staff.Very friendly.There wasnt any choice of resturants in the area but the hotel resturant was very nice.Portions wernt over sized and a little more expensive than we had had on this holiday but the food was lovely and cooked to perfection. Réservez une table maintenant

I have eaten dinner at this restaurant two times during my stay in Bapaume. The steaks are excellent and perfectly cooked. Delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommended!
