The lunch left me with mixed feelings. Food is tasty, but I got disappointed/annoyed with several details. When I made the reservation, the tenant asked me if I wanted to sit in the "restaurant" - which I agreed to. Upon arrival I found my table to be in the bistro-like "Stube" part; I wish I'd been informed that the cozier part was open at dinner time only!Service was provided by a young waiter who was very friendly and efficient. The chef came out of the kitchen, greeted some guests (obviously regulars) but ignored me - incredible! The menu is Swiss traditional, with focus on seasonal produce (asparagus season). As starter I had a generous portion of fresh asparagus. The accompanying "Fürstensauce" (hollandaise sauce pepped up with herbs and tomatoes) was to die for. As main course I pointed at the "asparagus and fish (sole) with Noilly Prat sauce" on the menu...but got served asparagus with pike perch meunière and tartar sauce!! I did not make a fuss - probably a misunderstanding, as the pike perch was not mentioned in the menu, but was indeed one of the daily suggestions. The fish and the tartar sauce were actually very tasty. I ended my lunch with a delicious "gebrannte Creme". Please note: Although it can be translated as Crème Brûlée, this is the Swiss version i.e. it is served without the usual sugar crust but with whipped cream instead. The bill amounted to CHF90 - rather pricey even for Swiss standards. The final disappointment: the restaurant does not accept American Express, although the website displays the credit card logo!

I originally came here with my husband in March, but with my in laws visiting, we decided to take them there. My in laws ate schnitzel, I had the special roast beef with tartar sauce, and my husband the small beef tartar. I would have enjoyed horseradish cream with the roast beef, but the tartar sauce was delicious, too. My husband's beef tar tar was exquisite. We made a reservation, but we probably didn't need to. I would take special guests here again. Excellent food, friendly servers, and efficient restaurant. Luxurious? No, but damn: the food is good. I look forward to returning before we go back to the States at the end of the summer.

The hospitality is qualified and very hospitable. The dishes are prepared with sensitivity and have an excellent culinary taste. Man and woman feel invitingly comfortable in the restaurant!

Very cozy lunch with friends, very friendly staff and good cuisine. The prices are also reasonable. Game season beginning. Tasty.
