We were referred here by the receptionist at IQ Hotel Ulm, and we really thanked her when we came back to the hotel.This one is located inside Gasthause Roessle, and while there's no parking near the restaurant, at evening when there's no service held, you can park in the nearby church's parking lot. The restaurant is traditional German, not only by cuisine, but also with by design and feel.The staff was German cold but still, service oriented, and the dishes were all looked and tasted very good, although the Hot dogs were kinda plain.Still, we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, and if we'll be around, we shall definitely return.
Nice food and possible for a famlily with kids at 8, 16 and 18 to find food that we all enjoyed. The lokal people came driving for the restaurant wich we always find a good sign. We really liked it. It was not food pretending to be more than it was, but we had a really nice and well-tasting meal. My husband and son had lamb and was very happy with that.
My family ate here during our stay at the hotel and enjoyed a lovely relaxing meal.Service was great and the lovely waitress did a good job translating the menu from German for us!Food and drinks were of good quality and for drinks, mains, desserts and coffee, we paid €90 for 4 people; well worth it.
we were at the hotel engl to eat. it was just great. we liked that everyone can eat with crimped butter, narrow and similar. our 3 year old child also got free late zle with sauce. eating and service was top. will return definitiw.

super friendly staff, get very trouble regarding food (I need to live gluten-free), it was often and never had bad experiences, large parking lot, nice furnishings, quiet ambience, you can only recommend (y)
The hotel has a beautiful winter garden where there is enough space with a larger group. Food is at a high level and not too expensive. Prices are normal for the offered quantity and quality.
Value for money is good here. Don't expect miracles, but hey you are not paying for them either. Proper German kitchen.
Delicious food, super friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere ...... my personal favorite in the room Ulm .
