General: Mother's Day and Hunger are still alive. We had a table reserved for 3 people at the Alte Post restaurant. The restaurant is located in the old post office of Gladbeck therefore also the name of the restaurant. Previously there was a brewhouse before in November 2012, after thorough and successful complete renovation, the Sucic family opened this place, which had previously successfully operated a smaller restaurant in Velbert, where we were always satisfied guests. Wir sind mindestens einmal in der Woche in diesem Restaurant. Der Mittagstisch ist der Hammer. 3 verschiedene Gerichte zur Auswahl und dann immer Suppe, Salat und Dessert dabei. Und das schon ab 6,90 Euro. Preis/Leistungsmäßig kann man in der Umgebung nicht besser essen! Der Service ist immer top!

Great steak and shrimp (I preferred the steak , and great side dishes. The personnel were extremely pleasant and accommodating. Excellent atmosphere. Definitely a must do. (And the music playlist was fantastic for all ages !

The food is good and the staff is very welcoming. Great ambiance inside and outside! Worth it to pay a visit.
