Hotel-Gasthof Schiff

Six of us had dinner on Sunday September 20. Five of us had very good white wine and one had a good red wine.The salad was plentiful with a variety of fresh vegetables and lettuce and the house dressing was perfect. We all had a snitzel and pomfret. Three had no crust (natural) and three had with crust.Reasonable prices and service was very good. Recommended and we will return

Abends essen wollten wir. Eindruck von aussen war ganz nett. Altes Gemäuer von früher mit Charme . Empfang mehr als unfreundlich; man kündigte uns mehr als 1 Stunde Wartezeit an. Einige Tische müssten noch bedient werden; der Koch hätte auch nur 2 Hände. Für uns wäre das Warten nock ok gewesen; aber der Ton macht die Musik. Zufällig sahen wir in die Küche rein; Appetit ADE.

In Texas where I live, having a good chicken fried steak on the menu is mandatory. If you don't, you have to turn in your chef card. In Germany, having a good snitzel is required.This place has that, and more great items to chose from. I would put the snitzel as an 8 on a scale of 10. Don't support at snitzel becauseDessert is great here as well

Gelegen in het centrum van Horb am Neckar, een klein rustig stadje met veel hoogteverschil. Dus als je nog even wilt wanddlen veel trappen en stijgen en dalen. De kamers zijn eenvoudig maar netjes en het restaurant is prima. Personeel is vriendelijk, ik werd zowel 's morgens als 's avonds bediend door de eigenaresse van 66! Réservez une table maintenant

Wir haben am Nebentisch Leute kennengelernt, die eine lange Anfahrt auf sich genommen haben, nur um diesen Rostbraten zu essen. Ich kann das verstehen - der Rostbraten ist wirklich lecker, schmeckt so durch und durch schwäbisch, dass auch ich eine lange Anfahrt auf mich nehmen würde. Familie Kessler - weiter so!

For a small town hotel the food on offer was excellent, the beer plentiful and the company great.Belander (Sic) makes you feel like you are home, wait a minute she makes you feel better than home does, as she cooks beautiful meals, and serves the beer as well.

Während unserer Fahrradtour übernachteten wir in diesem Haus, das sehr alt und gemütlich ist. In den bequemen Betten konnten wir wunderbar schlafen, die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig. Das Abendessen und auch das Frühstück waren in Ordnung.

I visit Horb at least once a year and this is the best place to stay by far. The owners are fabulous. You go out from there to be sure that you are well around!!! I'm always here. Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent food, Blanda and her husband really go out their way to make you feel at home. The beds are also very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place!

Typiskt tysk gammal gasthaus med dito meny. Riktigt bra och gott. Äldre värdpar som haft det i många generationer.
