We recently selected the Hotel Haverkamp to celebrate my husband's mother and aunt's 80th & 90th birthday party. We did this entirely via email, telephone and internet. The Hotel Haverkamp was excellent! We reserved a room for approx. 30 guests and chose a menu with 3 choices; a chicken dish, a pork dish and a fish dish. Guests were greeted with sekt, sparking cider or a cocktail. Appetizer choices were a salad, mushroom soup or tomato soup. A variety of ice creams were served as dessert followed by a traditional Kaffee und Torten with a choice of a chocolate cake, a fresh strawberry torte and a Caipirihnia torte that was recommended by the hotel. We were visiting Bremerhaven for the first time and had booked a double room for 3 nights.Our room was quite small (basic double) but perfectly clean with a modern bathroom. Sadly it had no air conditioning which we could have used as the weather was very hot for early June.The whole hotel was very well appointed with a splendid swimming pool, although we did not have an opportunity to make use of it.My lasting impression of the hotel was the staff, who were all very friendly, helpful and professional. I have been to 90 countries and been a tourism professional for 18 years, and I found this hotel excellent in terms of decoration and comfort. Fine details and trained staff!staff is very good, room service is very good, and especially small note, (no pork contribution) this is a respectful institution for someone who does not eat pork like me..and I am very happy about it.staff is trained..i think it is the best hotel in the region. . thank you for everything.
Very good breakfast and customer service. The superior room with 2 beds and two bathrooms was perfect for a 2 night stay! It felt extra comfortable and spacious with the second bed being in a separate area of the hotel room. Location of the hotel is very central and you can walk to most sightseeing locations. I would stay here again! Excellent hotel!

A colleague and I decided to have dinner from the bar counter instead of going to the actual restaurant (just a few steps away). The bartender kept us company the whole evening and we had a great time, especially after the 5th round!Food was excellent and the atmosphere was great!
I been several times as the company use it when we sign on vessels here in BRV. It is a standard hotel , and I special like the food, as it is good German quality. Always receive good service here, and it is just in the center of the city.
This is a super cute, compact, cozy, peaceful n a lovely place to stay.. beautiful ambience, spectacular swimming-steam-sauna area, great restaurant n bar..cordial staff n comfy rooms..I n my wife had a great stay. Thumbs Up!!
The restaurant is a hotel establishment and considered as good restaurant in the locality. Nice ambience and good quality of food. You can sit in hotel bar and also order food from this restaurant.

Went her for one night and enjoy the food twice. Very good service and a very nice menu, and the resturanrent is very clean
