we had family dinner in the jagdhof and the experience was missing. the service gave its best and was also very friendly and upcoming, but too many dinge ran wrong. the eating took forever to serve and ended far below what you would expect from an average restaurant in Austria. remember that an average restaurant is half as expensive as this place. The T-Bone steak was obviously not cooked by someone who knows steak. Medium wheel was interpreted as the half of the meat good-done and the other half crude. also the carving had terrible quality meat. some sections were huge, while others were tiny (all ordered as main courses) at the end of the day this is a restaurant could possibly with charg...
could eat here during a trip to Europe and had the best beef tar ever! very attentive and nice service, excellent wein suggestions (as single travelers they rely on wein through the glass. since starving had also economical (white risotto and...big cheese to finish my opulent meal. sitting outside is always nice and relaxing. overnourished and could also enjoy her wonderful breakfast. Hopefully, in the summer, will be again with the family, always a delicious and true Austrian hospitality. not cheap, but it is worth it. thanks to the family fakler and their wonderful service team;
good cost/benefits. although I must admit that I was very hungry. coming from the nearby small airport was a bit difficult, and I had to spell the instructions to the recipeists who speak with the taxi driver himself, they don't understand English. but others...then the restauratorin and the hotel are good.
I can't really describe in words how lucky I w to choose this hotel. The food, wine and bar is perfect. Stuff and service is the most important thing and you can see this is the soul of Jagdhof Hotel. I got nothing to do...in this city anymore, but I can wait to find myself in Jagdhof again.
