Hotel Les Prodains

We stayed in this very good hotel for 7 nights to get some nice spring skiing, and we where so pleased with this place. The location is excellent; ski in and ski out (just a few meters from the Les Prodains cable car that takes you directly up to Avoriaz and good spring snow, and you can ski all the way down to the hotel also in the late season), ski shop just close by for easy ski equipment rental, and it is much more genuine and charming in small Les Prodains than up in big Avoriaz... the hotel is of good 3 star standard, rather small rooms but they are clean and got what you need. On of the best features with this hotel is the food and the chef (who also is one of the owners): the food is very, very good, superior to any other "half board" we have had in the alps at this very affordable price! Excellent quality ingredients, very tasty and a very good variation of dishes. If you stay here you simply must go for half board! The chef is also very friendly and is a good source of knowledge if you want to know more about the area, skiing, french food or home made snaps (which he let you taste if you show interest...)! We can really recommend this very good hotel!

We have been visiting this location for almost 20 years and, strange as it may seem, the excellent quality of food is always maintained. A family business for many years, almost everything is cooked to order and lovingly prepared - and it shows . It is a short distance out of Morzine and whilst the Menu includes much of the tradition Alpine fare, there are also varied choices, We always leave feeling elated about the food and planning when we will return. All that is best about french cuisine and hospitality.

Nous avions réservé une table, une fois arrivé sur place, une équipe complètement débordée et loin d'être agréable nous a envoyé baladé car plus aucune table de disponible malgré les réservations de plusieurs clients. très déçue de ce manque de professionnalisme. Si vous n'êtes pas capable d'assurer les réservations que vous prenez au téléphone ne proposez pas ce service!!

depuis des années, et toujours la même qualitéUn accueil avec un petit verre gratuit (sympa) puis une carte riche en spécialités toutes plus excellentes les unes des autresune cuisine faite maison et des produits fraisune addition un tout petit peu élevé mais bon quand c'est bon !!

Maden er overdådig! Luksus 4 retters menu hver aften. Vi vidste ikke, hvad vi skulle forvente af en halvpension, men det har overgået alle vores forventninger! Simpelthen så lækkert!
