I have stayed several times in the hotel ohr about the last years, and one of the things I love to stay there is the restaurant. safe it is convenient, but eating is really excellent. they have all traditional Austrian foods, but also have objects with a twist. my greatest regret is that I am never in the iron city for some of the special food events. I would like to be there especially for the hellish Scharf event, but unfortunately I am only there at a limited time. They have a series of other special eating events that look fabulous. it's hard to say what my favorite dish is because it just depends on what I feel like eating at this time. Sehr nettes Hotel, was uns am meisten gefallen war, war die Lage- sehr nah am Bahnhof und auch nur kurzer Spaziergang (ca 10 Minuten) in die Stadt. Check-in war problemlos und was absolut toll ist- Hunde sind erlaubt! Natürlich muss man wissen, ob sein Hund auch alleine im Zimmer bleiben kann und andere Gäste nicht stört. Unser kann das schon und wir ließen ihn nach langem Ausflug am Vormittag im Zimmer ruhen, während wir dann die Schloss besuchten. Zimmer und Badezimmer sehr sauber, da gibt es nichts zum Meckern. we had a party of six for a special meal on a Sunday, which was a celebration weekend. the tradition for the st. martin’s day is the bratgänse, and you could not find better than the ear kitchen that is presented to us! in a beautiful. easy sauce sown, the gänsefleisch was hot, but moist and tender with a large emptying and red cabbage was eating beyond our expectations! the service was fantastic, and the family ohr was all the time before location excellent wine and champagner. this place is a must when you visit the city of joseph haydn, and the ohr’s hotel is an excellent place to stay lush breakfast and a great menu that has a lot of specialties.
Unscheinbar von aussen aber innen dann doch schön : Freundliches Personal, unser Zimmer war sehr altmodisch eingerichtet, jedoch sehr sauber und super groß Badezimmer mit WC etwas eng aber zum verkraften. Lift vorhanden sowie genügend Parkplätze Das Beste war das Frühstück sehr gut immer frisch und genug von allem da 3 G wurde kontrolliert preislich auch in Ordnung kommen gerne wieder

Hervorragend geführtes Hotel. Wir haben uns alle auf der Feier sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Service war von Anfang bis zum Schluss erstklassig und auch der Schmäh hat nicht gefehlt. Das Essen war ebenfalls super und Suppe, Vorspeise und Hauptspeise waren top. Kann es bedingungslos für Feiern jeglicher Art empfehlen.
while we were in the hotel ohr, we have eaten several times in this beautiful restaurant. especially we enjoyed the typical German mixed salads and a home specialist of spaetzle with pumpkin and cheese. delicious! the prices were good and the terrace atmosphere was perfect on a late summer evening!
Jetz ist Muschelzeit. Wir waren mit Freunden gleich Anfang Jänner im Restaurant. Die gratinierten Venusmuscheln waren einfach nur genial. Man isst hier in entspannter unaufgeregter Atmosphäre. Dazu haben sie eine gute Auswahl an Weinen mit regionalem Scherpunkt.
I could eat here only once during my stay, but I enjoyed my meal. most of the elements on the menu will be before location - including meat. there are some wild game dishes. I had the venison ragout and it was.
