Booked a table for 9 of us on a Saturday night. Service was good but waited about 15 minutes in the line to order. Menu has lots of things to choose from. We waited over an hour to get our food and two others on the table got their food about 20 minutes before us.. which was annoying I ordered the stick squid and nothing too exciting. The sauce was way over powering that I couldn't even finish my dish. My partner had the pork belly and said it was still very chewy. The same seemed the same sauce as mine but watered down? We booked for Mother's Day for three of us for lunch at 1pm and each Mother was given a flower on entry and a coupon for a free glass of champagne, we felt thoroughly spoilt. Despite the Hotel being totally booked out for Mother's Day the service and food were excellent, the staff were all bright and breezy and efficient. We ordered Moroccan Lamb Shanks, Shepherds Pie Beef Bourguinon and NZ Whiting Fillets and all three meals were beautifully presented and delicious. Prices range from $24-$27 for each of our main meals but the servings were large and served hot. We will certainly be returning to this Hotel again, it is spotlessly clean and well run.
I went here for dinner tonight with 12 other people. We were celebrating a family members birthday and we all had a great night out. The meals we ordered were delicious, fresh, cooked just right, presented very nicely and priced reasonably. The staff where friendly, quick and professional. I was very happy with everything and can highly recommend this hotel for a nice family meal.
