Schloss Sargans

We were not at the post office, we went there. During our first visit, my wife and I had baked Schnitzel with an enormous amount of French fries. In the second night of our stay in Sargans, I gedimt and had the Dark Seoul from their Asian menu. From the description I suspected that this would be a relatively easy meal of chicken meat and would stir fried vegetables. I was withdrawn to see something that approached the table that looked like a big pig roast. It was indeed, chicken breast, cut and formed in a protocol, all in a crispy golden coating. The Veges surrounded it and were dressed a very heavy sweet and acidic sauce with some heat on it. It was delicious, but much too much for a person. Maybe the menu suggested it as a community dish and I missed this note! The Hotel Post Restaurant is certainly worth a visit.

On a Monday evening in Sargans there was not a whole selection open, but this central restaurant seemed to make a roaring trade. The staff is friendly, the menu is enormous and the portions are extremely generous. It's not cheap for what you get, but that's Switzerland. You didn't come here for cheap food.

ich bin zufrieden bin draussen in der terrasse gesessen aber die bedienung war schnell und freundlich und mit dem essen war es auch ganz fein.

Great hotel, very friendly staff and the Barmann was really friendly. A flawless hotel, good food in the restaurant
